Loka Publisher (“Loka Publisher,” “we,” or “us”) provides Loka Mail Merge, a macOS application for creating and sending consent-based email campaigns through an email provider selected by the user.
Information stored by the app
The app may store recipient records, campaign content, templates, delivery status, local attachment references, and application settings on the user’s Mac. The app may store email account credentials or tokens in macOS Keychain when the user chooses to connect an account.
How information is used
Information is used to import and validate recipients, personalize messages, prepare attachments, connect to the selected email provider, and show campaign delivery status. Loka Mail Merge does not require a Loka Publisher cloud account for its local campaign workflow.
Email providers and third parties
When the user sends a campaign, message content, recipient addresses, and attachments are transmitted to the email provider configured by the user. That provider processes the message under its own privacy policy and terms. Loka Publisher does not control the provider’s handling of email data.
Contacts and files
Contacts access is optional and is used only when the user chooses to import contacts from macOS Contacts. File and attachment access is requested through macOS file pickers when the user selects a file. The app does not scan unrelated files.
Analytics and advertising
Loka Mail Merge is not designed to show third-party advertising. Unless separately disclosed in a future version, the app does not use third-party advertising trackers or sell personal information.
Security
Account secrets are intended to be protected by macOS Keychain. Users should protect their Mac, use strong account security, and use provider-recommended app passwords or OAuth connections where available.
Data retention and deletion
Because campaign data is managed locally, users can delete local recipients, templates, campaigns, and account entries from the app or from their Mac. Email copies and provider logs may remain in the configured provider’s systems according to that provider’s retention practices.
Children’s privacy
Loka Mail Merge is a business productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The revised date will be shown at the top of this page.
